He has a wealth of experience in scaling companies, brand building and revenue growth. He now leads Nila Studios, working with business leaders in Southeast Asia to grow their business through marketing.

Clocking over 15 years of experience building brands in Southeast Asia, Kriscel has a flair for bringing ideas to life through her work. 

She has held multiple creative director positions both in agencies and in startups. Never complacent, she’s always on the lookout for inspiration for her next design or video project.

Clocking over 10 years of experience building brands in Southeast Asia, Monica has a flair for bringing ideas to life through her work.

She is one of the artists behind Nila Studio's artistic creations, turning our client's creative briefs into compelling stories through her expert design.

Our Brand

The name "Nila" comes from the name Sang Nila Utama, a Southeast Asian prince who found the island of Singapore and gave it its name. In a similar vein, Nila Studios, a Singapore headquartered company, celebrates the spirit of one of Singapore's "founders", working with startups and companies who want to venture forward and grow in the region.

Our logo is a "pen-rocket", a hybrid between a fountain pen and a rocket. Rockets are symbolic growth, technology and sophistication, while the pen symbolizes the planning, writing and creative work needed to grow a company, be it through marketing or sales.

Our primary brand colors are blue and black. These are symbolic of sea and earth, a nod to Sang Nila's journey to finding the land of Singapura by voyaging across the sea. It is also symbolic of order and chaos, structure and creativity, the ingredients needed for growth of any kind.
